Refunds & Cancellation

A booking is a request until the hotel accepts it

When you book on this website you are sending a request to the property, not reserving a room outright. The hotel has 24 hours to accept or decline it. Nothing about your stay is confirmed until they do, and we tell you either way by email.

What is paid when you book

Where a property takes payment online, a deposit of ₹1,000 is collected at the time of the request. The remaining balance, if any, is settled directly at the hotel after your booking is confirmed. All room rates shown on this site are inclusive of tax.

Cancelling

• Before the hotel responds — cancel at any time, at no cost. Your deposit is refunded in full.
• The hotel declines, or nobody responds within 24 hours — your deposit is refunded in full automatically. You need do nothing.
• After the hotel confirms, more than 24 hours before check-in — cancel free of charge. Your deposit is refunded in full.
• After the hotel confirms, within the last 24 hours before check-in —₹500 of the deposit is kept and ₹500 is refunded.

Check-in is 14:00 IST, and the 24-hour deadline is counted back from that time on your check-in date — so for a check-in on the 10th, the deadline is14:00 on the 9th. We state the hour so you can work out your own deadline without having to ask.

A deduction is only ever applied when a guest cancels late. It is never applied when the hotel declines a booking or fails to respond.

How to cancel

Use the cancellation link in your booking email. It is unique to your booking, so no one else can cancel it. If you cannot find the email, contact us with your booking reference and we will cancel it for you.

How long a refund takes

Refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment provider. Banks typically take 5–7 working days to show the credit; the timing after we issue the refund is set by your bank, not by us.
